Epicurean's
Delight is a site designed to present individual poets and writers.
Sometimes it might be just a page or two and sometimes it might be
a complete section devoted to that one writer. All the writers
whose
words appear on this site, I consider to be a cut above the rest
and am honored that they would allow me to present their words
using my background sets, graphic designs and photography.
The Word Warriors are the first group of writers
who allowed me to use their words.
I never imagined that Epicurean's Delight would become so big
over time therefore I am having to retire certain sections of the site
(you will find them under "The Old Home Place" section)
to allow me more time to devote to my Word Warriors and be
able to do individual pages from time to time, as well as concentrate on
..

Word
Warriors The Short Stories and Poetry in the sections
below are written by very talented and special friends. "Words
Are Windows To The Heart" Poems
are not . . . simply emotions . . . they are experiences.
For the sake of a single poem, you must see many cities,
many people and things . . . and know the gestures which
small flowers make when they open in the morning. You must
be able to think back to streets in unknown neighborhoods,
to unexpected encounters, and to partings you have long seen
coming; to days of childhood whose mystery is still
unexplained . . .; to childhood illnesses . . . to mornings
by the sea, to the sea itself, to nights of travel . .
. and it is still not enough.

Native American
Spirituality is to strengthen ourselves, our relationships with our families,
communities, nations and the Earth itself. The beliefs are for everyone
"native" and "non-native" alike. We are all Earth's children
with varying nationalities and ancestry. This is an invitation to be good
people in this life, to respect such teachings along with honoring and
respecting other "family" members and other's beliefs, all cooperating
to work together for a united vision of peace. Peace is also seeing others with
the eyes of the heart (Cante Ishte) - spanning race, color and religion. The
Spirit considers all things sacred, we are all One, all connected. So what we
teach our children will be carried into generations to come.

This
section contains the first pages ever done by Epicurean's
Delight.
Also within this section are websites
created and
owned by
Epicurean's
Delight
Due to time constraints I will no longer be able to update and
add to these sections.
There are many beautiful poems in these
sections
and each of the writers is a cut above the rest
in their ability
to pen thoughts and feelings
that we all have within our
souls. If you would like to use their poems to make pages,
please contact them.
