Easy Bill found her in the rubbish pile,
His Mother cleaned her up: What a smile!.
Although she could not count, read, write nor type,
Mom thought that she was a joyful delight.

By "dangling her right" she could sweep the floor,
Cook, wash, iron, make beds and do other chores.
But Easy Bill "dangled her not by her strings".
He "cut'em lose" and gave her a diamond ring.

Angelia's umbilical cord was pinched at birth.
Being handicapped, some thought she had no worth.
Easy Bill loved his Angel; Bill had no feet,
To each they were: The Perfect Christmas Treat.
The children "dangled Angelia by her strings."
They even gave her a plastic play ring.
Angelia wore a faded gingham dress;
Her legs bowed and wobbled; they were a mess.

When the children picked her up to play,
How they'd laugh and made her dance night and day.
All the other "dolls" were handled with care,
Not her, she was dirty with flaming red hair.

It's amazing that she lasted ten years.
The kids abused her, but she shed no tears.
Many "dangled her by her broken wings."
They'd toyed with her; they liked new flings.
