Love, Discovered

We walked along
the water's edge
and gazed upon the sea
The calming tides
and salty air
all felt pure and free.
I took your hand
and saw your smile
framed within this place
The setting sun
the rising moon
shone upon your face
I swept my arms
around your waist
and claimed you, as my own.
The seagulls cried
The waves rejoiced
And the winds just softly moaned.
That was when
our love was found
on that special night
When we saw
the setting sun
meet the pale moonlight.
