Jerrie and Lois are one and the
same person.  The Jerrie is a nickname
for Geraldine....her full name is
Lois Geraldine Holda

Yesterday we were young and restless and innocent.

Yesterday we did not worry about tomorrow nor did we even think that there might not be a tomorrow. The world belonged to us and we were happy and enjoyed every minute never knowing what roads we were going to travel nor how hard the journeys would be.

Today we are the pieces of our yesterdays.

The poems and writings you will find here are about the yesterdays, the memories, and the loves that Jerrie has shared. In these writings you will hear the story of a love so rare, a love that never had time to grow old or tarnished and a love so strong that not even death could take that love away.

On a cold, rainy night someone choose to drink and drive - someone choose to take a life - someone choose to change forever the direction that Jerrie's life journey would follow. You can read about that night and memories of the love Jerri and Paulie shared by clicking on the links at side of this page under "Jerrie's Other Writings".

When you have finished be sure and use your back browser button to return here and read the poems and other memories that Jerrie has written.

On June 29, 2007, my special friend left this earth to live forever
in Heaven watching over all her friends and family just as she did
while on this earth....I wish you could have known this special lady...
she was a true lady in every sense of the word and one of the most loved
people I have ever known...I was so blessed to have her come into my life
several years ago and I miss her more each day.  This section of the website
contains writings Lois sent me thru the years....there are many more I have
not made pages for but will as time goes on......
I love you Lois!
