The Castle

There's a castle in my heart,
Where only love can dwell,
A refuge from all harm,
Life giving water's well.

There's a castle rising upward,
A humble place of majesty,
I share it not with everyone,
This place is just for you and me.

There's a castle shining brightly,
Deep within my heart,
Surrounded by your beauty,
And all that you impart.

The castle was built of rock,
Steady, ageless and strong,
And in this castle our love does live,
It's where we both belong.

There's a castle in my heart,
The key to which you own,
From a tiny pebble,
A mighty castle's grown.
