You can find a quiet cove anywhere there is water.  This one is at Greenfield Lake in Wilmington, NC, and it has a sister in Raleigh, North Carolina... a quiet place, where, when the sun nears the end of day, shadows sneak into the woods and the meager light that still lives blends into the nearby foliage where magic begins to happen.  Colors light up and the water explodes with marvelous reflections.  It is a real place.  There is a woman in Raleigh who knows.  Ask Pat; it is in her back yard.
